![]() Then, travel to North Akkala Stable and head directly west from here, eventually happening upon a Spring of Power. When Dinraal is right underneath Link, loose a few arrows anywhere on the body of the dragon, and this will cause the Dinraal's Scale item to fall to the ground below, ripe for the taking. At this time, Dinraal should spawn just northeast of the Great Skeleton, and will begin making his way towards the face of the mountain, just below you. Instead, drop down to roughly halfway down the mountain face, and wait here until right around 9AM. Once made, rest at the makeshift campfire until morning, which will take you up until 5AM, and from here proceed northeast to the Eldin Great Skeleton location, but don't descend from the top of the mountain on to the skeleton. To accomplish this, fast travel to the Gorae Torr Shrine, and make your own campfire using some wood and flint. Instead of staying in one specific place, Dinraal will only spawn just north of the Eldin Mountains at 9AM, and only if Link is not standing immediately in the flight path of the dragon. Dinraalĭinraal, the second of the three dragons in Breath of the Wild, poses quite a different challenge than Naydra. Rather than harming the dragon, this will instead dislodge Naydra's Scale, an item which can then be picked up and dropped near the altar, opening up a passageway behind the altar that leads to the Jitan Sa'mi Shrine. Chase Naydra and dispose of all the eyes, and you will heal the dragon from the Great Calamity.Īfter this has all been completed, return back to the original enclosure with the altar at the peak of Mount Lanayru, and fire off an arrow at the healed Naydra. Don't worry if you suddenly find yourself a long distance from Naydra, as Link can merely paraglide down the mountain in order to catch up. Once in the air, fire a quick shot towards any of the eyes on Naydra whenever you see the opportunity, and make sure to follow the dragon wherever it goes, still using the updrafts. Get off a quick arrow against one of the eyes nearest to Link, and Naydra will then take flight, meaning Link will have to use the various updrafts around the area in order to keep up with the dragon. Upon first meeting Naydra in the clearing with the altar near the peak of the mountain, Link will be informed that Ganon has infected the dragon, and is tasked with removing the infection, similar to the encounters with the Divine Beasts in Breath of the Wild. On top of this, you'll want a good amount of arrows and possibly some stamina-boosting potions in order to take on Naydra, as it'll involve a lot of paragliding and a lot of climbing to get up to the dragon in the first place. You'll need to equip Link with the best possible frost-resistant gear when venturing up the mountain, so make sure to refer to our guide on how to obtain the Snowquill outfit if you're yet to find it. Naydra can be found on the peak of Mount Lanayru, directly north of the Hateno Ancient Tech Lab where Purah resides.
